So I've been reading a lot about mechanical keyboards lately and I still don't see the point in paying +$100 on a keyboard for gaming.
The major advantages that I have read about were mainly durability and the tactile confirmation.
I have used a rubber dome Dell stock keyboard for the past 7 years and no issues so far, so durability isn't a big deal apparently. And I don't think that I need the tactile confirmation while gaming, since I don't happen to press mistaken keys in-game frequently.
I never used a mechanical one, so my opinions may be wrong, but that's why I'm here.
