I have five items listed under irq 9, system ok but why so many?
fyi these are whats under irq 9
Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System
NVIDIA RIVA TNT2/TNT2 PRO
Intel 82371AB/EB PCI to USB Universal Host Controller
YAMAHA NAtive DS1 WDM Driver
3Com EtherLink XL PCI TPO NIC (3C900B-TPO)

Just wondering why win2k would assign so mahy things to one irq.

That's ASPI. Your suppose to be able to have shared IRQ's. Does your sys run fine? If so don't worry . . . Ge Happy!

That's a 'feature' (read: unwholey-practice) of Win2k. Turning it off solved just about every problem I had. I think someone proposed incorporating the same thing into Linux, but the poor guy went into hiding due to a death-edict.

Heh, speaking of irq9, that inspired the title of my website http://irqnine.3comsbc.com. Pay a visit... although it's just a few articles I wrote about, take it as a graphical critique. Thank you.
