why some it times it takes 10 + seconds to load windows ?

HI

its new build . and whenever powered on usually the starting windows logo appears within few seconds

BUT at times, the Motherboard LOGO stays on for some 10 or so seconds and staring windows logo appear after that..

Is this a issue ?

is there a usb storage device plugged in at the time when this happens? cause the bios will then read those and initialize usb controllers etc to see whats on it, increasing bios logo/post times

yeah there s a usb modem connected . But even though usb is plugged in , it happens only at times not always.

so even if it is not plugged in this happens?
the usb modem should not affect the outcome of a bios post load time, unless it has a storage based initian in which it helps mount and install appropriate drivers related to the device itself. This is tricky I will have to hope that an expert will come along and assist with the troubleshooting for this unique scenario.

yes .it happens even if usb is unplugged ....
But it happens rarely not usually .. the build is 1 week old only . and this might have occured only 5 or 6 times so far . but still it happens
