I have to routers, Main router is Huawei ONT and works as the primary router while the second router works as access point. When i connect to the main router using wifi and internet is available. Then the same device is connected to the access point in the far end of the house I can't access the internet, but it is connected to the network. But if the device is connected to the access point first it can access internet and also if it connects to main router and connect back again to the access point it cannot access internet. What might be the problem?

U have configured something wrong.

If second router is AP, then it has the SAME SUBNET as if u have connected to first router. Verify this. Did u disable DHCP on AP? because u should.
Yes I have disabled the DHCP function and changed the IP address of the access point for 192.168.1.2 and this ip address was set as a static ip from the main router so that DHCP function of the main router does not accidentally assign this ip address to a device.
