I bought a Dell lap-top PC a few years ago,after I used it for about half a
year, the mouse's cursor start to freeze , I can't even move the cursor by
mouse.I had to turn off the PC by holding the power button for at least
five seconds. Then I used the Safe Mode, I checked the PC by Norton 360,
there is no virus, and I checked the PC's hard disk drives, there is no
errors, and I checked the mouse's properties plus Dell touchpad properties,
they are OK. But after I restarted the PC, it goes to normal mode
automatically. Most of the times, the mouse's cursor still freeze completely
while the PC is turning on. One more thing is If I shut down the PC, and I
don't use for a long time ( maybe a couple of days ). Then I turn on the PC,
the mouse's cursor become normal. But after I use the PC for a few hours
or one day, the mouse's cursor freeze completely again. Can you help me
to solve this problem. My PC is Dell lap-top Inspiron 1721.
Sincerely, Lawrence
