Question Why the ryzen 9 7900x3D is slower than 7800x3d in gaming?

I am newly in AMD ,as far as i know the 7900x3d has 2 ccd meaning 6 that has l3 cache while the other 6 do not have l3 cache compare to 7800x3d that has 8 +3d v cache.i think 7900x3d should lead because it has 12 core even though the l3 cache is not in both CCD But they got non 3d v cache ccd that has 6 core.so in conclusion it has 12 core with 3d v cache compare to 8 core that has 3d v cache

7900x3D, 6+6 configuration. 6 cores that can access 3D cache, the other half not. For just gaming, having all cores accessing 3D cache is better. Not having to split what data goes where would help too.

It's more about configuration. 7800X3D is monolitic, 7900X3D is not. It ahs separrate I/O and two CPU chiplets. Which means that their memory latency is higher as signals have to travel one extra hop - from I/O to CPU chiplet.

7800X3D is not monolitic, it still has an IOD and a CCD, when 7900x3d has 1 IOD & 2 CCDs
