Why the size of c drive increases without noticing me?

Why the size of c drive increases without noticing me?
Does any virus cause it?
Even though I was uninstalling programs the size increases again?Why why?

it's not a virus first clear the recycle bin then right click on the drive C and select propeties run disk clean up it gives a huge health to your drive.
