What makes you think only Britain did that to their children? Are they

weird, but not scary). We had Humphrey B. Bear (still do?) and Fat cat
(removed because he (the Cat) did not wear pants) and romper room
(removed because of hidden sexual subtext?) in Australia. All as
scary/funny as the rainbow one....
