Why two 4pin connectors

Hello,
I have purchased a Cooler Master 80mm cabinet fan. They also provided a connector which has got two 4pins to one 2pin connector.
Now, should I connect both the 4 pins to the PSU or only 1.
Currently, I have connected only one 4pin connector to the PSU, is my fan running with less power??
Should I connect both the 4pins??
[I'm asking this cz of fear that I may burn it of xtra power ]

Its whats known as a passthrough connector, so you can link several devices or fans on the same power line
