Question Why when I open a game some programs on my pc close down?

Hi, I am new to this forum hope I get some answers!
I wanted some help because whenever I open a game (Escape From Tarkov, R6 Siege etc...) some programs on my pc close.
I am talking programs like OBS Streamlabs, Wallpaper Engine and most importantly my Nvidia Control Panel disappears from the desktop when I right click, I always have to reinstall drivers to make it reappear (this issues doesn't allow me to open Nvidia Overlay in games).
I don't know how to solve.

16GB 2933 MHz
MOBO:

GPU:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti (Gigabyte)
Storage:
256GB SPCC M.2 PCIe SSD (for windows)
1TB Seagate ST1000DM010-2EP102 (Fro games)

It is not a specific game, there are some games that do this like Rainbow six siege, Escape from tarkov and other games on steam.
Also I have 16 gb of ram and It never peaks to 100%

Are we absolutely sure the programs in question are actually 'closing down' vice perhaps just being minimized to allow for full screen gaming? (for example, everything on my desktop, to include Origin game launcher, is minimized when I start Battlefield 1...)
