Question Why will my computer not load windows ( it gets stuck) after shutdown?

I can fix the issue if I hard shutdown it but why does it happen? I know its not good on the machine to hard shutdown ( press the power button).
I.e you see the logo but no swirling below and no matter how long you wait your on that screen.
Also, if I restart, there is never a issue with windows loading.

This recently happened when I put my OS on my ssd drive but windows updates could have caused it I am unsure. The repair windows offers detects no problems .

I found out the issue it was a power setting I had turned on. I think it had something to do with quick start oddly enough.

Try updating drivers on the PC as the actual problem likely caused by an old driver not written for win 10. Fast startup is a new power mode used by win 10, with it on the only time the PC actually is off is during a restart. This can mess with older drivers
