Why will my computer scan from my printer and get it but its not printing

i have a hp 5600 series all in one printer when i scan from my computer it is working but when i try to print something from my computer it is not sending it to my printer why?

HP all-in-one units are actually separate devices connected by an internal USB hub. That is why the scanner can work fine but the printer might not.

To fix it, I would first download the latest driver from HP and install it. If that does not work we can get into some more detailed troubleshooting.
