Hi, I'm currently using Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit. I was experiencing no issues on it. Now, I see every program has a issue.
When I try to open some .exe files, It says "(000000xc5) error, click OK to close". I try to play some games, and then it says "not responding" or "has stopped working".
I litterally can't do anything. I try to edit my videos with Vegas Pro 11, it hangs and stops working and I can't even load projects. I'm using Service Pack 1. All .NET Framework and C++ distributals are latest version. What is wrong?

I installed GTA 3, And some cracked softwares and some music. I don't use torrents and both of these things I installed are from trusted sites. Yes, I've tried the sfc\ scannow. But nothing worked so far :( and last thing I remember I did was I installed this game GTA 3 from [pirated site link removed] I remember after some time it started but the game was clean and it's a trusted site.

Hi, I use Windows 7 64Bit ultimate SP1. I'm having issues in everything. I can't open .exe files or such programs. Nothing works fine, I try to run anything, 000000xc5 issue appears in every application. Reinstalling the program also doesn't work. It works for a limited first time, then it doesn't. can't even use my PC. Please help, I would appreciate it.

Try running Windows Memory Diagnostic. Better yet Memtest86+. Memtest is more thorough but a little more difficult to setup. As you'll need to create a bootable DVD or USB. Also try booting off the recovery partition and run CHKDSK on your boot drive.
