Why wont Antec 650 Earthwatts run HIS 4850 1GB card

Why wont my powersupply run my card ??

There shouldn't be any problems with that combo, so you either forgot to connect some powerconnectors (there should be one sic-pin connector on your card) or something is broken

What is sic-pin connector?

I have a Gigabyte GA-MA790GP-UD4H AM2+ motherboard that is SLI ready. I have the 1 PCI-E connector from the power supply plugged into it.

The powersupply is on the ATI certified list, so no clue why it is not getting the juice it needs.

Any suggestions?

Try running with the integrated graphics (you may have to physically remove the 4850 from the motherboard first), if that works your 4850, or the PSU, is broken, if that doesn't work your 4850 is probably ok, but your motherboard or PSU is broken.
