Why wont battlefield run well?

Ive got an msi r9 380 4gb but bf4 only runs at around 15-19 fps on lowest settings with my resolution down...I dont know why, everyone says that i should be getting around 60 on ultra???

What's your full pc spec? BF4 needs a good cpu and 8gb RAM

BF4 is CPU intensive you need a good one to run it.

What are your full specs and how are your temps?

Full specs are AMD r9 380, 8 gb ram, amd a8 6600k cpu, windows 10 64bit, and i have changed the resolution to the lowest setting, and the res scale to 25%, but it dosent make a difference, but i get the same fps on ultra in 1080p with 200% res scale?Without the graphics card, on lowest settings witha 25% res scale i would get 90-100 fps? I can run ArmA 3 on ultra at around 20 fps?

i think its a virus, i had an fx 4130 and gtx 760 and the sae happned to me and i dropped from 60 fps to 30 and regardless of the settings i put it on the fps was the same, i then found out i had a virus, and thats what was causing it so i got rid of the virus and it went back to normal.

scan for a virus and scan your registery with a registery scanner trial from lavasoft

Are any of your cpu cores hitting 100% usage, you cpu so fairly weak for bf4

im not sure, your hardware should run bf4 at high with some ultra with 60 fps easy unless your running 1440p or 4k

So ive cleaned the registry, done a virus scan, and im reinstalling the game. None of my cores are at 100% they are mostly around 60-80

yes, yes it is. Its now locking at around 30-40 no matter what settings i have, and i changed the user config file so the max fps is the same as my monitors refresh rate

then i think your cpu is causing your bottleneck and not allowing the game to fully use your gpu

Captain obvious here with the questions:

Are the power cables plugged in to the gpu
Is the monitor plugged into the gpu or motherboard
Is radeon software installed
Is catalyst control center uninstalled
Are integrated graphics disabled
