Why won't it read my discs?

Sometimes my Xbox 360's disc tray will not open, so I sometimes have to gently pry it and press the button and it opens, although today I opened it and I inserted the disc and some strange noises came out and it doesn't even give me a warning that it can't read the disc, it just won't read it.

You probably broke the lazer read thing.Its like $100 to repair =( .Dont move your xbox around alot, thats how it breaks.If you do, remove disc first.
