I have Epson WorkForce 840 and Stylus 515 printers. They are 100% successfully connected to my wireless network with static IP's. I can see and ping them from the router, but my PC's refuse to see them.

I have tried from 32 and 64 bit Windows 7 machines as well as a 32 bit Vista machine. All drivers installed. I have turned off firewalls and opened up every sharing option I can find and it just wont work. I know it is not the printers as they both are new and work fine plugged directly into the router.

Am am at a total loss. HELP!

I cannot ping the printers from the PC's at all, it is as if they do not exist. When I log into my router (Verizon Fios) I can see and ping the printers. I have ran the Epson configuration utility on all computers as well as attempted to set them up manually using the static IP's. I am at a total loss. The firewalls are off and all sharing is opened up. As I type this I realized that I have not disabled my malware apps, ill try that when I get home. I hardly think that would keep the PC's from even pinging them though.

The IP ranges that you used on the printers are correct? Gateway, subnet, etc.. were set? The firewalls on the PC would not keep the computers connecting to the printers. Some setting in the IPs you used is not right. Try using DHCP on the printers and try to connect to the IP they get from the router automatically.

You know what I need to check? I need to see if there is a Plug and Play setting on my router.

I will take another look at my IP's and make sure there is not a conflict someplace. Thanks for the attention to my issue!
