Why wont windows 7 see my wifi

I recently installed Windows 7. I have a WiFi connector (which was working fine in XP) but now windows 7 doesnt even acknowledge its there.

Check in the Device Manager, if you see a yellow sign of exclamation with your WiFi Adapter, you would need to download and install driver for your WiFi adapter. In case you can't find driver, please post make/model number of your WiFi adapter and we would help - thanks!!

It doesnt display in the Devise Manager. The system doesnt find it

So you don't even see that small blinking light (LED) on Adapter?

the adapter has one green light on

Remove adapter
Reboot Windows and connect adapter in the USB port at the back of CPU.
If it is detected, you may install the driver from CD (if you have one) or download it from manufacturer's website.

sorry I think I have misled you. Its the wifi board that has the antena. It sits inside the computer.

then maybe you need to open your CPU and reseat that card.

ok...I've reseated it. I still doesnt display in devices

If you have the driver disk... simply install the driver and reboot.
