[SOLVED] why won't3070 asus graphics card will not fit in my pcie

Hi, my Asus 3070 won't fit into my pcie slot but my 1060 does.

My motherboard is a MB00744- Asus PRIME B450MA AM4 DDR4*4 HDMI , DVI, M.1 USB 3.1 GEN2 MATX MB-BB45PMA

There should be nothing stopping you from putting that GPU in. PCIe x16 slots are all the same. Make sure you have the locking tab for the slot on the motherboard pulled back, and that you took any covers on the GPU pins off. If it still doesnt fit, check for clearance in your case, there might be something else stopping it from fitting.

There is no way it doesn't fit in the slot. It might not fit in the case, in the slot it certainly does.

you use a m-atx board so i might not be able to handel at 12 inch card that use 2.9 slot the 1060 is only 9 inch .
