my computer is working fine but my wife's computer and my 2 gaming consoles (Xbox 360 and PS4) can connect but cannot maintain a stable connection. I have tried everything from ethernet cables to restarting all devices/computers. Can someone please help me find the problem/ solution

What is the router make and model?

Are all of the connections wired?

Any other devices: e.g., printers, NAS?

Are you using any static IP's?

Have you tried connecting the gaming consoles and your wife's computer via the same router port that your computer works on?

Do you get any error messages? (Check the Event Viewer on your wife's computer.)

I had random disconnection issues with my XBox 360, but they were only when streaming off Netflix. I found that increasing the MTU setting on my router (an old BT Voyager) pretty much fixed it. But that might just be coincidental, as my newer Huawei from TalkTalk has the same setting as my Voyager did originally, but it has never randomly disconnected while streaming on XBox.
