Why would I ddu drivers each time updating Intel Arc driver

Why is it suggested that you remove old Arc drivers with ddu before installing the new ones?

You don't need to use DDU if all you're doing is updating drivers. People who suggest such are blind adherents to whatever someone said on Reddit or whatever ( I dunno, I just like picking on them)

I'd also argue a lot of scenarios where people say you must use DDU you really don't. And then they throw in the reason that you may as well anyway to avoid potential problems.

Quite simply, this isn't necessary. Just install the new drivers and game on.
