OK, I am sorry - couldn't resist. On a more serious note, FS2004 is not
mentionned much here either, probably because it has its own NG. A side
effect is that the other civilian sims as a whole are seldom discussed
in here, even though some are really good and addictive (Condor,
http://www.condorsoaring.com comes to mind).
Other NGs such as rec.aviation.simulators are not very active regarding
X-Plane (and other civilian sims) either.
I think that if you have info you want to share or questions about
X-Plane and don't mind a few (ahem) OT posts, this place should do.
Most of the dwellers over here have at least tried X-Plane, some even
like it for its flight model or plane building/experimentation capabilities.
