in the low quality demos i was getting about 16 fps....in the high quality, 8 fps

i need to fundraise so that i can buy a fat new video card

What cpu do you have? If I had a 700mhz instead of my 500mhz my score would almost double.

if you have a p3 thatd explain it, since from what i hear its very biased towards p3's cos intel owns madonion or something. but that could all just be amd paranoia. it wouldnt surprise me

Just for comparision, my TNT2Ultra ($279 Sept 99) gets 3015 3D marks in 1024 16 bit color 16 bit texture. This on a PIII 558mhz at 124mhz FSB and 128meg RAM cheap PC133 at CAS2 cause of underclock (yowser, it works). Good Luck, Take-Out

they were talking about 3dmark 2001 not 2000. even the geforce2 gts barely hits 3000 in 3dmark 2001.
