whys my windows 10 start menu so small?

so I had the default start menu ever since I got windows 10, but now all of a sudden its small. I couldn't resize it using my mouse. And I also went to personalization and pressed, "use start menu fullscreen" still nothing.

Can you please create a new user account, log in to that account, and see if the Start menu appears correctly there?

If it does, you can copy all the files from your old user account to the new one, delete the older account, and begin using the new account normally.
