Hi,
Using a Netgear d3600 router the wireless signal doesn't work in the nearby kitchen despite showing 2 bars of connectivity. This happens for many devices. Tried all the regular tricks of power cycling etc.

Thanks

Kitchens can be full of interference, florescent lighting, microwaves and big metal objects (cookers, dish washers). Also the bar readings are not an accurate way of measuring WiFi strength and just because your device can hear the signal from the router your device may have a weaker transmitter and the router cannot hear your device trying to talk back.

I've not used one but you can look up WiFi Extenders.
