Wi-Fi gaming blocked camping

I live on a camping(because i am a poor student) and i want to be able to play online with my nintendo switch. the only way to connect my switch to the Wi-Fi is trough a hotspot from my laptop. I am able to download games like this but i am still not able to play online. does Anyone knows how this Works or how to play online? or is this not possible?
