Recently i updated to WIndows 8.1 and everything worked right except the wi-fi.
When i try to use it in the network screen it will be grayish.
Information i have from windows :
Manufacturer: Intel Corporation
Description: Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 1000
Driver version: 15.4.1.1
Physical address: ‎74-E5-0B-02-CD-10
Here it what it looks like: http://i.imgur.com/N7rpLmZ.png
Thanks :)

Solution
Try this one.
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/confirm.aspx?httpDown=http://downloadmirror.intel.com/23721/eng/Wireless_16.11.0_All.zip&lang=eng&Dwnldid=23721&DownloadType=Software+Applications&OSFullname=Windows+8.1%2c+64-bit
I have kind of a button , but it doesnt work. In Windows7 it opened one of lenovo's programs
And when diagnosing it it tells me about the wi-fi button but the wi-fi button doesnt work.

Which one of them should i download?

Install each one of them?

It is the same rar, should i install each one of them?

I had to reply to this - been trying to track down disabled wifi, Bluetooth, mobile data on my laptop since last night's Windows Update. Convinced MS had bricked something. Then I saw your post. Uhhh.... yes, I do have a physical wireless switch.

Thanks - you've saved me from further idiocy!
