Question wi fi set up of Canon TS5051

Just got a canon TS5051 printer. Can't set up wi-fi connection. Canon don't work weekends. My original MG5550 had a menu where you picked the wi-fi connection and entered the password.
With this you get a choice of using the CD or downloading the latest from the website. I downloaded it and started setup.

I get a tick box Deactivate the block. Is this to do with the firewall (zone alarm)?. It would pop up a message asking me to allow it anyway. Doesn't matter whether I remove the tick or not. I get a list box which is empty. If it is supposed to be a list of printers then it would be blank as the printer does not know my wi fi name and password anyway.

Do I need to push the WPS button? No mention of this in the manual.

Hope I can get help from you guys. Otherwise I have to wait until they go back to work on Monday
