I have USB Wi-Fi Card 150 Mbps. Problem is i get max 72 Mbps. My router doesn't support 5 GHz Band and 40 MHz Channel Width. Support only 2.4 GHz and 20 MHz.

Solution
Then 72Mbit throughput is all you can get. The 150Mbit advertised rate is the link rate. WIFI is not full duplex communication. So your adapter can transmit OR receive, but not both at the same time. That cuts WIFI throughput in half. So the 150Mbit link rate get 75Mbit throughput.
You are doing the best you can with the hardware you have.

That is pretty much what the 72 number means. This corresponds to what is called a MCS value.

It pretty much means you have a strong signal and are using the maximum data encoding rates. You are only using 1 data stream...ie no Mimo. and you are limited to 20mhz channel width.

You can look these mcs tables up and see what all these numbers mean. The only real difference between the 72 and the 150 is you must have 40mhz channels to get it. Since you can not use that option you are getting the best you can possibly get.
