Hi, i have read a lot about my problem so i have done many test but heres what it comes down to and now i can"t find a proper solution. When i desactivate my Wi-FI conection (because it works) to let my wired connection take the lead it tells me the DNS server is not able to connect. Strange thing is that when my wi-fi is acticated the wired part of the connection (that is still on) tells me its working. I ran ping to google.com 4 answers no lost and to 8.8.8.8 same result. I tried ipconfig /release and renew and flush dns thing. Tried the Ipv 4 and 6 ( they are on automatic). I am out of solutions please help me out on this

In a lot of cases, it's better than using your ISP DNS. I've seen many ISP not adhere to the standards of DNS. When an address doesn't exist, ISP DNS will sometimes resolve to their own search engine pages. I hate that.

Well seems like the problem has came back .. I have put the other numbers onto my dns 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 and didnt work ... retried automatic not working again... Some other forum i read said that Mccafee could pose problem so i uninstalled it .. and now i cant even acces my own modem please further help =)
