Wich monitor to get ?

guys i have been in my closest store and isaw BX 2450 led and they were previewing T2 blu ray edition the quality was awesome but i saw this new monitor but it comes with ips panel and 1920-1200 resolution but the BX 2450 mas Resolution is 1080p so wich one do you recommend me to buy

seems to me that you're asking if 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 is better.

it all depends on what you want to use the monitor for.

if you want to watch alot of blueray movies then x1080 might be the better buy because you won't have to deal with black bars on the top and bottom when you fullscreen video.

if you want more vertical pixels because you don't like widescreen monitors, need more resolution or some other reason then you might want to get the x1200. keep in mind that 1080 video content will have black bars at the top and bottom.

i know what you mean about blueray looking good. wait until you see a movie that was filmed for HD and not just enhanced. T2 is an older movie.

I prefer IPS panels myself.

LED (a.k.a. WLED) backlight sometimes gives a bluish tint to colors because are blue LEDs with a yellow phosphorous coating to imitate white.
