Hi, this is me :)
Wich one is better for a heavy cpu usage (and integrated graphics)? both are in stock and at the same price (A bit of a limit budget)
Btw, as a side note... I read theats over here that says the Thermal Take Lite 550w is terrible... Will cause me troubles for a gtx 1660?

Solution
yah the slim would be good enough for the non oc'ed chip. the chip should stay below 100w so it will be ok. some good case airflow won't hurt either to be sure.

the 212 evo is a 150w cooler while the slim is only 120w. you'll want the 212 evo for that cpu as it will use some power.

it probably won't handle an oc of it though if it is the unlocked "k" model. they could get use a good bit of power more than the 212 can handle. if you wish to oc it, then you'll want a better cooler for it. at least a 200w one

I don't want to overclock it, because is a 4790 without a K. But I see... Then I think I should go for the 212 Evo, besides it has a thermal paste tube in the box included

Bad news pal, the 212 is 159 of height and my ThermalTake Versa H8 wouldn't fit :/
Other sugestions?

i went with this one

https://www.newegg.com/be-quiet-pure-rock-2-black/p/13C-001F-00039?Item=9SIA68VB5Y8554

150W cooler at 155mm height and pretty much the same as the hyper 212. nice and quiet and installed easily. should be more than ample for a locked 4790
Thats seems pettry nice. But, here we I live (Center America) is a bit more expensive than the normal version. The Pure Rock Slim will be enough?
(Because I do not know if I could wait, because I need a cpu cooler for my work)
