Wich one of these drives are faster : Seagate Desktop SSHD (ST1000DX001) and WD Black (WD1003FZEX).
Also is the 970 amd chipset as good for overclocking as a 990fx board if yes please recommande some great overclockers ( i would prefer to have lots of power phases ) and what are the main differences between 990fx and 970 .
And finally is the gigabyte 990fx-ud3h still throttling ( I am reffering to rev4 and + if it exist)

Solution
Of the two, the Seagate is faster thanks to its 8gb of caching SSD - though it doesnt come close to the warranty offered by the Black.

you might consider the 1tb WD Blue or seagate st1000DM003 (non hybrid version of your drive) with a 32GB ssd cache solution for about the same price though. Like the Sandisk Readycache.

I forgot to mention that i will use the drive as a main drive .The mobo side you know i don t want to go that big with the asus formula cause here is quite expensive and is really not worth the upgrade for a phenom II 1075t btw i have a 880g ud3h and it almost can t overclock
But does the 970 chipset overclock as well as a 990fx or close? and what are the differences between 990fx and 970
