Hi, everyone!
I put up my new build and discovered that my PSU (OCZ Fatal1ty 750w 4 rails 12V@18A) couldn't handle my GPU (Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X OC). This is my first build and the AMP detail evaded me... I tested the system with a Corsair CS600 single rail 12V@49A and the system seemed pretty normal. Is everything making sense so far? Again, I'm new at this...
That said, I'll buy a new PSU, but can't decide on wich one... here are the options:
EVGA 750B2 (+12V@63A)
Corsair TX750 (+12V@62A)
Appreciate other options, but those are the ones inside my budget and available where I live - Brazil (others can be pretty expensive).
Here are my system specs:
CPU - i5 4690K
GPU - R9 290
MOBO - MSI B85 G43 Gamming
Storage - 1TB Seagate HDD
Cooling - 1 140mm frontal fan; 6 120mm fans; Hyper TX3 CPU Air Cooler (Cooler Master)
As I said, I'm newbie and the possibility that I missed something with my current PSU is real! So, I greatly appreciate any insights.
Thank you all very much!
pss.: sorry for any english mistake...
