Hello everyone i traded a computer case for asus vivobook i dont remeber the model but its from 2018.

It has a Celeron N4000 & 2GB RAM 10' inch has type c port. and all i know that it came with windows 10, (i dont know which one 32 or 64 it came with) now the pc has no OS and i wanted to ask which os are you guys recommending for this pc, i have seen there are some shady cut out debloated windows 10 and windows 11 (the tiny 10 and 11 and ghost spectres and more) i wanted to know which is the perfect one for this type of pc, i would like some help.

Basically, none of them.

I have/had an Asus Transformer, 2GB. Win 10 on it.
It was so slow as to be almost unusable.

The cut down versions take out so much, that they are also unusable.

You might try Linux on it.
Its not an option i want to give this laptop to my mom. And i want to install windows on it, so i dont know which one i would get 7 on it personally but i dont think the pc support 7

Win7 is dead and gone. So is 32 bit Win10. The N4000 is 64bit at least but 2GB RAM will be the killjoy. Any possibility this thing is upgradeable? I'm suspecting not, but it's worth checking out as then it would run Win10 easily. Otherwise take USAFRets suggestion and check out Linux. There's some very Windows like distros that are very user friendly, and the price is right.

I will check if this laptop is upgradeable but i pretty sure is most likely not. My mom is not techy person and i dont know exactly 100% how to use linux so i would like to have windows for my mom. And help her troubleshoot if she manage to break the pc.. in terms of windows i have seen ghost spectre and tiny 10 and tiny 11 and i have seen these windows versions are using like 300mb of ram and all of that
