Wierd codes at boot! Msi z87 g-45

i have a msi z87 g45 mobo with a cire i5 4670k. whenever i boot up the system i see a2 and then it starts booting up.
i works perfectly but i just am curious about the a2.
i recently saw 9c, i dont know what that means either.
please help

Pretty sure thats just a bios version number.

They are called Debug Codes. There might be a table in your manual called Debug Code Table. My z87-gd65 shows them too.
Once ran into the whole list on the net, a2 and 9c are nothing to worry about. Think you need to be at the maker of the BIOS for the whole list of codes.

A2 is the BIOS detecting the or A HD, if all running well, may just be a glitch in the BIOS, and not to worry about, have seen similar wher a HD detect pops up when more than 1 partition on a drive
