Wierd icon showing on photos, documents, etc.

This icon has been bugging me for the last two days. Any of you know how to fix it? As I said in the title, it's showing on photos, documents, adobe files, etc. Thanks in advance.

If you right-click any image and choose properties, what does it say next to: "Opens with:" ?

exactly what it says in your picture, but with the icon that I showed.

Good.
try opening the start menu > folder options > "View" tab.
Then remove the check besides "Always show icons, never thumbnails" like this picture

Then click OK and refresh the desktop.
If that doesn't do it, try going there again and clicking on "Reset folders" button.

The check was already removed. And I did the reset folders option anyway, but nothing's changed. Thanks for your help though!

Nope, not the solution. But as I've seen this post, I remember doing a disk cleanup recently. Maybe it's because of it (don't remember what I deletet back then... was like 1 month ago). So far, the icon that I've been talking about, shows on .iso, .docx (I don't have the Microsoft Office yet installed, but it should show the icon of notepad/wordpad) and .jpeg... I'll let you know if there's anything new.
