Wierd yellow boxes on monitor

PC: predator g5900, stock psu, 6 gb ram, gtx 780 ti graphic card

It was an old problem which I thought I fixed when i changed the graphic card but it's back again which is odd.
A friend suggest it might be the thermal paste on processor that isn't working right(old) therefore overheating since it reaches 65-70 when gaming.

Any idea what it might be?

It may be a thermal issue, but most GPU's can tolerate up to 80-85 I think.

Yes, you can change the thermal paste on the GPU to see if it improves this.
