WIFI Adapter drivers

just bought an 802.11n wifi adapter from amazon... i kinda forgot to hook up my cd drive... cant find cords to hook it up... plus the installation cd is very small not sure it would work anyways...and i think my girlfriend threw away the papers for my wifi adapter...

so im not even sure what brand this wifi adapter is... or how to install the right drivers for it...

can someone help please... ive tried to use some driver detect things but i think some of them just gave me malware.. and or didnt install the right drivers

i looked under device manager.. tried to automatically update and it doesnt work.. i try to plug in the wifi adapter again and it doesnt install.... ive tried to look under device properties to see what brand it is and no luck

Go to the adapter in device manager. Go to the details tab / change it to hardware ids.

Copy and paste whats here in Google. It'll tell you what it is

thanks... it was ralink mediatek or something like that... thats what i thought it was initially but i downloaded drivers for it and it wasnt working properly.. i just went to meadiatek.com this time and found the drivers on there
