[SOLVED] WIFI adapter keeps disconnecting at random times

I recently installed Windows 10 on my SSD , and this problem pretty much showed itself right away. I hear the USB disconnect sound from windows, I see the light stop blinking on my adapter, and I get disconnected from my wifi. It usually reconnects itself a couple seconds afterwards, but sometimes it does it consecutively over and over for a good couple minutes, making it very hard to keep online games going. I've tried plugging it into every usb port imaginable, but to no avail. I'm not really sure what to do at this point. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Update your post to include hardware specs.

Are you sure that only one network adapter is enabled?

Should be either wired or wireless - not both at the same time.

In your case, you want to enable wireless and disable wired.
