Wifi adapter not working on Windows 10

I bought today a Belkin N300 wireless adapter and my PC is not picking it up. I have installed unistalled the drivers multiple times and nothing happens. It just says that a file is corrupted or missing (code39) should I revert my pc back to Windows 7? Why is not working on my pc? Thanks

Belkin F7D2102 N300 Micro Wireless N USB adaptor uses the realtek RTL8192CU chipset.
The last driver update was in 2012.
