Hello all, I recently had a power surge and this happened while I was on my PC. I was on the internet and am using the Netgear WNDA4100 N900 Dual Band Adapter. Upon the power coming back on, I am able to connect but my download speeds range from 14kb/S to 58 Kb/s. This is a major dip from my usual 1-2 mb/s download speed, and I'm hoping y'all have some tips for me to fix this! Thank you very much!

Try a factory reset of the router. Yes I know this means you have to set it all up again - next time backup the config. The router's config is stored in a small amount of flash memory on the router, and power spikes/failures can occasionally corrupt it.

For the future, plugging it into a surge suppressor is a good idea. I actually plug my router and modem into a battery backup. That way if the power goes out, my laptop, tablet, and phone still have Internet access until my cable company's battery backups die.

Check which channels your router is set up to use and change it if you detect interference. A power outage may have caused neighboring WiFi routers to change to a different channel. The channel your router is using which...
Tips? If you're in an area known for power surges - connect to a surge protector.
Your PSU would've taken the brunt of a surge, and if it was poor quality, it's likely more likely your motherboard and other components took the brunt.

As for the actual problem - have you tried reinstalling drivers?
