Wifi Adapter Replacement Compatibility

Hello,

I have an old Toshiba Satellite c650 (PSC12C-05U00S) that I've re-purposed and I want top replace the wifi card in it to something newer that supports faster wifi speeds and Bluetooth. However everything i'm reading tells me that the BIOS might affect what I can use to replace it and i'm not getting a clear answer on either what i can replace it with or what i would have to do to replace it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Know what wifi adapter is in there?

The next might show,

download hwinfo,
install and open it=click run,
close the top window which is the system summary,
in the main window at the left top click "save report",
at the bottom of the next window check "short text report",
after that you'll see what's in the pc,

Just need the wifi adapter.

and this is probably what you look for. Can also open the laptop and look for confirmation. Other option would be an usb adapter,but getting one with bluetooth as well will be the hard part i think.

Like i said, Qualcomm Atheros AR9285,this is what i thought it would be and the one i linked is about what you want.
Can't guarantee that the one i linked will work,bios being in the way,but that's about what you are looking for when looking at wifi+bluetooth.
Or something like this which is dualband,
Intel 3160 adapter.
no guarantees with this one as well.

Okay, I was looking at that one on Amazon however I noticed that the connectors seem to be different then what is already being used. 2.4G + 5G Dual-Band Mini PCI-E WIFI Wireless Card for Intel 6250 WiMax for DELL/ Asus/ Toshiba https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B079NMLC4Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_PJsWAb037VRTR doesn't have Bluetooth but I think it would still be an upgrade

I wouldn't pay too much attention to how the pins are layed out. The one you link seems fine as well.
