wifi and ethernet connection problems

Im having an issue with my laptop disconnecting from the internet when ever I play games or stream. Its strange, Ill be playing or watching a show when my connection d/c. When I run the repair I get the same issue..a router error, so ill restart both my router and wireless router and run the repair again. But, the same error occurs. I have to restart the laptop every time it disconnects because there is just no way to get re connected. it may be worth mentioning, the Ethernet port has the same issue and will actually red X when it disconnects. Im stumped here, please help.

How sure are you that it isn't a problem with your modem or router?
