Wifi button on my acer isnt coming on

We can not get the button on or get the wireless going it said its working for its not showing up or going on.

Ok, so are you connected to a network yet? What does it say in the network description...? "Connected"? "No Internet Access" "Blocked"?

Provide more detail please.
