Question Wifi card doesn't fit

I have recently built my first pc and have an issue with my wifi card. When I screw the wifi card onto the case it seems to unplug from motherboard and whenever I plug it into the motherboard first it doesn't reach the screw on the case. Is the wifi card im using the problem or am I doing something wrong?

Can you show any photos of your wifi card setup?
Model names of your hardware? motherboard? wifi card?
Or is it a laptop?

I can't provide pictures at the moment, but I have a Thermaltake Versa h17 case, an AsRock b450m pro4 motherboard, and an ASUS PCE-AC51 wifi card.

The card has to be straight in the slot. If screwing in the card makes it crooked, it won't work. Maybe you can use a couple washers under the screw.

Happens all the time, they don't make these things Swiss-precision like.

You should first properly insert it into the Mobo, good electrical contact is more important than mechanical, then if you have to, bend the rear bracket. Sometimes, loosen the screws between bracket and board may also help.
