I uninstalled my MSI PC60G drivers on my desktop, since I was expecting to replace the card with another one. However, I did not end up not replacing the card with another one. At this point, with my drivers uninstalled, I know I need to install them again to get access back to the internet on my Desktop. Since I no longer have the drivers CD nor do I have the drivers anywhere on my computer, I downloaded the card drivers for Windows 7 (64 bit), which is what I have, from here: http://us.msi.com/product/net/PC60G.html#/?div=Driver&os=Win7%2032

However, when I attempt to install these drivers, they do not install. The Device Driver Installation Wizard comes up, but I get a screen that says that the device Installation Wizard did not update any of the software because it was not better than software I currently have installed, and it shows the current installed driver: "Ralink Technology Corp (rt61x64)...". Is there a way to get around the Wizard so that I can actually install the software? It seems that if I can override the Wizard, I can install the drivers I need, and then the issue will be fixed.

Hoping for insight. Thanks!

Josh

Do you see a yellow exclamation mark in device management? Id don't think so and that means, the driver is still installed and the card ready to use. You may have un-installed the device (card), but that leaves the driver on the disk and it will immediately reinstall with the next reboot.
