The CPU you have is irrelevant to what wifi card you need, you can use the same wifi card with any intel or AMD cpu, what matters is what port interface it uses and if your motherboard supports that port.

Also hard to suggest something when we have no idea of needs: what is budget, what is distance/# of walls from router, do you need 2.4ghz band only or dual band with 2.4 and 5.0 ghz band, if 5ghz band then what speed is your router?

If your PC is in same room as the router then you should be connecting via hardwired ethernt as that is MUCH MUCH better.
In most cases a powerline adapter like TPLinks av1000 is often better option then WiFi is, so might want to look into that instead.
