Question Wifi card is not detected

I bought a used computer, and I already had a wifi card from my old system, so I put it in to get some faster speed (the pc have wifi, but slow), but the card doesn't show up in device manager. I have tried a lit of different things to get it working, but i can't find something that works. (I'm sick of having less that 1mb of download speed). Thanks for you help.

it is a prebuild from lenovo (y700 not laptop) that is upgraded graphics card
Gtx 1060
8Gb ddr4 RAM
i5-6400

asus pce-ac88

I did, but it made no difference that I could notice at least

what the os on the system? did you install driver for it?
is there unknown device showing on device manager?

The os is windows10 home version 1909 OS build 18363.720
I installed the driver
I'm pretty sure there is no unknown device in device manager. If it was where would it be?

go thru the list. and turn on the "show disable device" too

I didn't find it, but I found show hidden devices
