wifi connected but no internet access

I am having problem with my new toshiba laptop. it say's connected but no internet access. with cable I can access.

Start with rebooting the computer, the router and the modem.

What is your IP configuration for both connections? Are your DNS / Gateway settings the same for both?

From a command prompt, execute: ipconfig /all then post the results. Also see if you can ping a www address from there.
